Director Milap Zaveri has officially completed the UK shoot schedule of his highly anticipated comedy film Masti 4, bringing audiences closer to the return of one of Bollywood’s favorite franchises. Along with him were the original three—Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani—whose reunion has already generated huge buzz on the internet.
Zaveri went online to make the announcement, hailing the milestone as “one of the greatest ideas ever” to bring back the original stars. A viral photo from the picturesque UK location features Milap standing happily alongside the three actors, smiling, as he captures the nostalgia-filled camaraderie that has characterised the Masti series from day one.
In his emotional post, Milap reminisced about his experience working with the franchise, sharing that he had never thought he’d be directing its fourth film with the same cast he used to write for. He appreciated the energy, the sense of humor, and rapport on set, calling the shoot an “unforgettable experience.”
The Legacy of Masti Continues
The Masti franchise started in 2004 and instantly became a hit at the box office with its funny portrayal of friendship, marriage, and mayhem. The first one had a who’s-who of stars such as Ajay Devgn, Lara Dutta, Genelia D’Souza, Amrita Rao, and many more. It has since been giving us sequels that combine ridiculous comedy with emotional scenes.
