Karthik Gattamneni’s high-octane fantasy action film Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran, has taken the box office by storm. Within just five days of its release, the film has grossed over ₹100 crore, marking a massive success for the team. The cast and crew recently gathered at a special event in Hyderabad to celebrate this milestone.
Teja Sajja Urges Fans to Avoid Piracy
At the celebration, lead actor Teja Sajja made a heartfelt appeal to fans regarding piracy. He revealed that there have been multiple attempts to leak Mirai on platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
“This film is meant to be experienced in theatres. I trust the audience to stay away from piracy and enjoy it on the big screen. Watching it on a phone or TV just won’t do justice,” he said.
Teja also shared that he personally requested producer Vishwa Prasad and the distributors to keep ticket prices affordable, ensuring that families could enjoy the film during the holiday season.

Blending ancient mythology with modern superhero storytelling, the film delivers a visual spectacle and emotional depth.
How Teja Landed the Role
In a pre-release interview, Teja revealed that director Karthik Gattamneni pitched Mirai as a challenging project.
