Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 5 is going to be a big screen event in the making, guaranteeing full-fledged comedy. Following the success of its earlier songs such as Laal Pari, Dil E Nadaan, and Qayamat, the team has now released a fresh new high-energy track The Phoogdi Dance and it’s already generating buzz.
Nana Patekar Steals the Show
The track has Nana Patekar at the forefront of the madness, dancing to the offbeat ‘Phoogdi Dance’ in his own special brand of humor. Sung by Krattex, music done by Tanishk Bagchi and Krattex, the song is a mix of folk with the craziness that the Housefull franchise is famous for. Based on a well-known dance style wherein women twirl around circular motions, The Phoogdi Dance takes a comical turn, just like the film’s quirky energy.
Double the Comedy, Double the Climax
Shaking things up a bit, Housefull 5 will be made in two iterations — Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B. Both films will have a different climax and an original killer, giving audiences a double whammy of comedy and suspense. This new strategy brings a fresh level of enthusiasm to the franchise, which has a reputation for over-the-top storytelling.
Star-Studded Extravaganza
With a record-breaking cast of 19 stars, Housefull 5 has returning comedy king Akshay Kumar, along with favourites Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan. The cast also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 enters theaters globally on 6th June 2025.
