The opening of this week’s new release, the Abhay Deol starrer ONE BY TWO, was not expected to be great, but the very ordinary 10-15 percent start made matters worse. The best collections came from the multiplexes of Delhi-NCR and some high end city cinemas of East Punjab. For any realistic chance of improving, the film will have to show a good jump over the two remaining days of the weekend.

Meanwhile after a good to decent opening weekend of around 60 crore, the Sohail Khan directed Salman Khan starrer, JAI HO, fell heavily Tuesday onwards, ending the first week netting a reasonable 85 crore (to be validated) from India. The best performance came from the Gujarat-Maharashtra belt.
