Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, who recently embraced parenthood with wife and actor Parineeti Chopra, has delighted fans by sharing her now-viral Mushroom Toast recipe. The AAP leader appeared on the latest episode of Tere Gully Mein by Curly Tales, where he offered viewers an intimate tour of his elegant residence in the national capital a space he and Parineeti have curated with greenery, warmth, and ample open spaces.
During the episode, Raghav surprised host Kamiya Jani with a serving of Parineeti’s trademark Mushroom Toast. While initially attempting to guess the recipe, he eventually decided to call Parineeti for the accurate version. Speaking over the phone, the actor described the dish as “very simple” to prepare, walking them through the process step-by-step.
Parineeti explained that the recipe begins with melting butter in a pan, followed by the addition of one to one-and-a-half spoons of maida. She then pours in milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens into a smooth, creamy white sauce. In a separate pan, she sautés mushrooms in butter along with salt, pepper, garlic, chilli flakes, and other seasonings for added flavour. The sautéed mushrooms are then combined with the prepared white sauce.
To enhance richness, she adds grated Parmesan or cheddar cheese into the mixture. The finished mushroom sauce is generously layered over toasted bread, creating a comforting, indulgent dish. Parineeti also shared that the versatile sauce can be paired with chicken, fish, or paneer, making it suitable for different palates.
Following the episode, Instagram users enthusiastically reacted to the recipe, expressing their eagerness to try it at home. “Beautiful, will definitely going to have this,” one user wrote, while another commented, “Thank you. Awesome recipe.” Many applauded Parineeti for sharing a simple yet delicious dish that can be recreated with ease.
Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra, who got engaged on May 13, 2023, at Kapurthala House in Delhi, tied the knot later that year on September 24 in a traditional Hindu ceremony at The Leela Palace, Udaipur. The duo welcomed their first child a baby boy named Neer on October 19 this year, marking a joyous new chapter in their lives.
