Parking Dispute Turns Deadly: Huma Qureshi’s Cousin Stabbed to Death in Delhi!

Two Murders Shock Delhi: Huma Qureshi’s Cousin Killed in Parking Dispute, Estranged Husband Held in Separate Case

Two separate and brutal murders have rattled Delhi this week, leaving the capital stunned. One victim was identified as Asif Qureshi, cousin of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, while the second was a 50-year-old woman allegedly murdered by her estranged husband.

Huma Qureshi’s Cousin Killed Over Parking Dispute

On Wednesday night, tragedy struck in South East Delhi’s Jangpura area when 42-year-old Asif Qureshi was fatally stabbed following a heated argument over scooter parking. The incident took place around 10:30 pm in the Bhogal locality, where Asif lived.

According to police, the altercation began as a verbal dispute but quickly escalated when one of the accused stabbed Asif in the chest with a sharp object. He died on the spot before any help could arrive.

Authorities have arrested both suspects, identified as Ujjwal (19) and Gautam (18). The case has been registered under FIR No. 233/25 and booked under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A senior police official confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and that further charges may be added pending forensic results and witness statements.

Woman Murdered in Ranhola, Estranged Husband Prime Suspect

In a separate incident in West Delhi’s Ranhola area, 50-year-old Kiran Jha was found murdered inside her residence. Police suspect her estranged husband, Parmod Jha, 60, to be behind the crime.

Kiran was living with her son Durgesh Jha, daughter-in-law Kamal Jha, and granddaughter. Parmod had reportedly been living in his native village, Chidiabad in Bihar’s Munger district, and had recently returned to Delhi on August 1 after nearly a decade of separation from Kiran.

According to police, Durgesh is currently working in Darbhanga, Bihar. During questioning, Kamal informed police that Parmod had not been in contact with the family and had no stable employment. CCTV footage from a camera outside the house shows Parmod leaving the premises around 12:50 am—just hours before the murder was reported to police at 4:09 am.

Police Investigations Continue

Both incidents have sparked public concern and raised questions about safety in residential areas. Police are urging witnesses to come forward as investigations into both murders continue.
