Preity Zinta may be bringing her ISHKQ IN PARIS six months after its originally planned release. However that is not stopping her from promoting the film like a completely fresh affair. While there is a promotional blitzkrieg being put together for next 10 days till the next Friday release, she is getting some French support from her co-star Isabelle Adjani.

”Isabelle is extending her complete support to the film and would be a part of the promotional activities. Even though she can’t fly down to India due to her other existing commitments, she has assured everyone that she would promote the film in West. This in fact works for ISHKQ IN PARIS team as even in overseas, the film would now find some good buzz building around it. Otherwise actors normally travel overseas for events and appearances. However now while Preity would be handling promotion in India, Isabelle would be helping out in France,” informs a source.
There was quite some hype the actress’ presence in the film when she was signed for it last year. Since she is a very big name in French cinema, there were some good gains for the film since a major part of it has been shot in Paris. This helped the film get a blend of international and local flavour.

”And this is something that is going to work to our advantage,” says Prem Soni, the film’s director, ”Isabelle is very proud of the film and has been talking about it a lot in the West. She is happy to be a part of a Bollywood movie where she is playing a strong part. Of course we would have loved to have her campaign for the film in India too; in fact that was the original plan last year. However due to the film being pushed, she too has moved on to another project. However she would be promoting the film in France and we would take care of that in India.”
Guess this could well work as a silver lining for Preity who could definitely do with some added buzz around her film which would be arriving on the weekend of IPL Finals.
