For someone who has half a dozen back to back successes behind him, his latest being GRAND MASTI, Riteish Deshmukh is on a career high. While his HUMSHAKALS as well as EK VILLAIN are looking great, he is also gearing up to begin shoot for BANGISTAN.

Meanwhile, his co-star Pulkit Samrat, who has been seen in three feature films so far, is excited to share screen space with him as a male lead.
‘With Riteish around, I am going to learn a lot of stuff from him. I need to try match up to his comic timing; he is just brilliant there,’ says Pulkit who has shown his flair for comedy in FUKREY last year, ‘A film like BANGISTAN is a great package as it offers wholesome entertainment. While the screenplay is fantastic, there are some good dialogues for Riteish and me.’

Marking the debut of journalist turned filmmaker Karan Anshuman the film would feature Jacqueline Fernandez as the leading lady.
‘Karan is a very interesting guy and the way he has written the film with the kind of references being made, it is simply fantastic,’ says Pulkit who was recently seen in O TERI, ‘BANGISTAN is a satire and I know for sure that to find another film at this level is going to be very difficult. We are going to start workshops very soon.’
The film goes on floors this summer.
