Bollywood’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna, who was hospitalised after he complained of exhaustion and weakness, was discharged from Mumbai’s Hospital early Sunday, said doctors on Monday.

Doctors, who were treating Khanna, said that the actor was discharged at around 1.30 am on Sunday.

His estranged wife and actor Dimple Kapadia confirmed the news and said Khanna is back home and is ‘absolutely fine’.
The 69-year-old actor, fondly called ‘Kaka’, was admitted to the hospital after his heath condition deteriorated on June 23. His manager Ashwin said that he had stopped taking food for three-four days.
