Rajesh Kumar Says Satish Shah Still Lives In Memories

Rajesh Kumar shares how Satish Shah is still remembered by Sarabhai vs Sarabhai cast as Rakesh Bedi gains praise for Dhurandhar.

Satish Shah may no longer be physically present, but his memory continues to stay alive among his co actors from the show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Actor Rajesh Kumar recently spoke about how Satish Shah is still a part of their daily conversations and shared moments.

During a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rajesh Kumar explained that the cast often remembers Satish Shah in simple and unexpected ways. Whether it is a joke or a meme shared in their WhatsApp group, someone always brings up how Satish Shah would have reacted. He mentioned that even when Ratna Pathak Shah shares something, the group feels that Satish Shah would have had the perfect reply. They often refer to him lovingly as “Kaka.”

Rajesh expressed his feelings by saying, “I don’t think he has gone, he’s just there. He would have been the happiest to see Rakesh Bedi today.” His words reflect how deeply connected the group still feels to Satish Shah.

He also spoke about Rakesh Bedi, who is currently receiving appreciation for his role in the film Dhurandhar The Revenge. According to Rajesh, Satish Shah would have been very happy to see this recognition. He also shared that Satish Shah, Rakesh Bedi and filmmaker David Dhawan were classmates at the Film and Television Institute of India, and their friendship went back many years.

Rakesh Bedi’s role as a Pakistani politician in Dhurandhar The Revenge has gained attention from both audiences and co actors like Ranveer Singh and Arjun Rampal. Rajesh Kumar also mentioned how people are now revisiting Bedi’s earlier work.

He recalled Bedi describing his journey with a metaphor about waiting patiently for the right moment. “Aaj saare log khod khod ke nikaal rahe hain, ki oh acha yeh ismein bhi the,” Rajesh said, explaining how audiences are rediscovering his performances.

Satish Shah and Rakesh Bedi had worked together in projects like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi. Even after Satish Shah’s passing in October last year, his influence continues through his work and the memories shared by his friends.
