After the massive success of Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao and Maddock Films’ Dinesh Vijan have teamed up once again for a unique time-loop comedy titled Bhool Chuk Maaf. The film, also starring Wamiqa Gabbi, is set to hit theaters on April 10, 2025. The first teaser has been released, giving audiences a glimpse of the film’s hilarious and intriguing premise.

A Wedding Stuck in a Time Loop
Set in the heart of Varanasi, Bhool Chuk Maaf follows the story of Ranjan (Rajkummar Rao), a hopeless romantic who finally lands a government job to marry the love of his life, Titli (Wamiqa Gabbi). However, just before the wedding, he finds himself trapped in a bizarre time loop, reliving his Haldi ceremony over and over again. As confusion sets in, Ranjan must figure out how to break free from this mysterious cycle before his wedding turns into an endless déjà vu.
A Fresh Pairing and A Promising Comedy
The teaser hints at a blend of romance, comedy, and supernatural elements, making Bhool Chuk Maaf a must-watch. Sharing the teaser on X, Maddock Films wrote, “Din hai untees ya tees? Fark hai bas unnees-bees! Par yeh hai kya masla? Jaaniye 10 April ko in cinemas, tab tak Bhool Chuk Maaf ho!” The film is directed and written by Karan Sharma and is presented by Maddock Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios.

Bhool Chuk Maaf marks Maddock Films’ third big release of 2025, following Sky Force and Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao has a packed slate with Maalik and Netflix’s Toaster, while Wamiqa Gabbi is riding high after her role in Varun Dhawan’s Baby John.
