The teaser release was nothing short of spectacular, with special premiers conducted in nine Indian cities and a simultaneous opening at New York’s legendary Times Square, indicative of the film’s ambitious global aspiration.

Staged in a mythological period defined by the cosmic energies of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, Ramayana delves into the ageless struggle between good and evil. The narrative follows the ascension of Ravana from a surprising demon child to a universal menace and the divine entry of Vishnu, incarnating as Rama to restore cosmic harmony. The teaser presents a visually rich and emotionally intense glimpse of the upcoming epic struggle.

Star-Studded Cast and Creative Powerhouse
Starring a glittering star cast: Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Theirs, along with a visionary story, is set to change the face of Indian mythological cinema.
Coming in as added strength to the project is the historic musical alliance of Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, who are set to deliver a haunting and potent score.
The action choreography is conducted by Hollywood legends Terry Notary and Guy Norris, guaranteeing world-class battle scenes filled with emotion and intensity.

Executive produced by Namit Malhotra and co-executive produced by Yash, Ramayana is supported by Prime Focus Studios, Monster Mind Creations, and the VFX behemoth DNEG. Ramayana: Part 1 will see a global release in Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
