Actors Akshay Oberoi and Randeep Hooda, who have teamed up in the film YEH LAAL RANG for the first time, will play mentor and mentee.

“Yes Randeep Hood and I have teamed for the first time. We are playing guru shishya in the film, who are involved into illegal blood transfusion business. I am obedient as well a rebel protégé of Randeep. I get enamoured by him in the film and in real also I am enamoured by him,” reveals Akshay.
Akshay further reveals that YEH LAAL RANG is based on true story. He says, “Based on blood mafia, YEH LAAL RANG is loosely based on a true story. It is not a satire but has very dark humour. Love story bhi hai lekin dark elements jyada hai.”
Akshay is all praise for his co-star Randeep.
“He is the youngest and most amazing star. Actors like Randeep are rarely found. He is a great inspiration. Slowly and steadily he has achieved and made a mark for himself,” says the actor.
YEH LAAL RANG will go on floors by August 10, 2015.
