While Dhurandhar The Revenge is largely driven by Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar, several supporting actors have also caught the audience’s attention. One such surprising name is Mustafa Ahmed, who plays Rizwan Shah in the film.
Interestingly, Mustafa is not a trained actor. He is actually a well known fitness trainer who has worked with many Bollywood stars. Despite having no acting background, he has managed to impress viewers with his strong screen presence and natural performance.
In the film, Mustafa plays Rizwan Shah, a loyal ally of Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza. His role is important to the story, as he stands by Hamza during crucial moments. Whether it is helping him take down enemies or protecting him during dangerous situations, Rizwan remains by his side till the very end.
One of the most memorable scenes features Rizwan giving cover to Hamza during a high action sequence. As Hamza goes after Major Iqbal, played by Arjun Rampal, Rizwan supports him during heavy cross firing. This moment stood out for many viewers and added to the film’s intensity.
Before stepping into acting, Mustafa spent years working behind the scenes. He has trained several big names in the industry, including Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. He also helped Ranveer Singh prepare for his role as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat and trained Vicky Kaushal for Sardar Udham.
Mustafa had a small appearance in the first part of the film, but in the sequel, his role has grown bigger and more important. His performance has been appreciated by both audiences and critics.
After receiving positive feedback, Mustafa shared an emotional message on social media thanking Aditya Dhar. He wrote, “You saw Rizwan in me and fought for me to not just get the part but deliver on it. You saw something that I didn’t even know existed. And look at what you did with someone who didn’t know the A of Acting. It’s you who truly empowered it.”
Apart from Mustafa, the film also features actors like Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and others in key roles.
Mustafa Ahmed’s journey from fitness trainer to actor is truly inspiring. His performance in Dhurandhar The Revenge proves that with the right opportunity and hard work, anyone can surprise themselves and the audience.
