Ranveer Singh is in a happy frame of mind. Not just has he managed to recover from a severe bout of dengue, but he is also back in the thick of things as far as the promotional campaign of his RAM-LEELA is concerned. With good buzz building around the film and it being the next biggie in the offering after KRRISH 3, he knows that the stakes are pretty high from this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.

What is also comforting him is the fact that the chemistry between him and female lead Deepika Padukone is pretty palpable which is further generating good curiosity amongst the audience.
“The way our characters interact with each other and the kind of physicality and attraction we feel for each other would be pretty apparent in the film,” says Ranveer who, for the first time ever, is appearing in a love story with violent elements to it, “The way they speak to each other is what brings in the chemistry. In fact when I read the script, it was evident that our chemistry had to be the driving force in there. It was pretty much required for people to buy into this love story.”

What further aided in bringing this chemistry on screen was the kind of form that the two actors are in with Deepika sitting on a pile of hits and Ranveer winning accolades for LOOTERA.
“I am so happy that I have Deepika around in the time when she is in such a great form,” says Ranveer, “She has a huge hand in enhancing her co-actor’s performance. When her act is so natural and organic, it further motivates me too to get it right out there in the very first attempt.”
Well Ranveer, we would look forward to that indeed translating on screen once this Kishore Lulla and Sanjay Leela Bhansali production releases all over on 15th November.
