LOOTERA being a period film demanded the actor to emote through his eyes. Ranveer being the director’s actor totally took up the process of improving himself on the same by watching a lot of Dev Anand movies.

Dev Anand was popularly known in his times for the splendid emotions he could portray in his films through his eyes and the director wanted Ranveer to do the same. Ranveer Singh took references from few of Dev Anand’s movies like GUIDE, JEWEL THIEF, HERA PANNA, etc.
LOOTERA is an eternal love-story and story makes you feel a lot.
