Richa Chadha: We Indians don’t think our languages are cool

As you might be aware, the talented Richa Chadha will be seen in MASAAN which releases this Friday.

According to the actress, the film is all about hope. Says Richa, “Though the film involves a lot of dark things, MASAAN is a very positive film. It is very hopeful. It also pays a tribute to Hindi literature which we don’t get to see today. Last time we saw a tribute to Urdu literature in DEDH ISHQIYA. We Indians don’t think our languages are cool. I don’t like that attitude. You learn English, you should know Hindi also. And please don’t glorify the fact that your Hindi is not good. Don’t say ‘Meri Hindi bahut kharab hai’.
