Ranbir Kapoor may not share a healthy equation with his father Rishi Kapoor, as revealed by the latter in a recent interview. But that hasn’t stopped the doting & loving dad Rishi from showering praises on the son and promoting his film on public platform.

Rishi Kapoor took to a micro-blogging site & complimented his son for Ranbir’s upcoming movie BOMBAY VELVET. “Now that’s a departure from a Rocket Sid Rockstar Barfi. Looks good hope the film is too. Good Luck!” wrote Rishi.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, BOMBAY VELVET also stars Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Kay Kay Menon in lead roles. It is slated to release on May 15, 2015.
