According to reports, the actor was attacked by an intruder on January 16, 2025, but he bravely defended his children, Taimur and Jeh, during the terrifying incident. Saif’s co-star from Race 2, Ameesha Patel, expressed her shock and distress over the attack in a recent interview with Zoom.
She condemned the incident as “very wrong” and said it shouldn’t happen to anyone. Ameesha appreciated Saif’s bravery and strength and said that it was a privilege to have known and worked with him for so long.
She extended her heartfelt prayers and wishes to Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and the entire family. Ameesha praised Saif for being truly heroic when he fought to protect his children. She had wished that the family is passing through this situation well and has faith in Mumbai Police for this probe to carry out it without any lacunas so that they deliver justice to that family.
According to reports, Saif is now out of danger and under observation as he recovers from surgery. Kareena, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Sharmila Tagore, and other close relatives have been with him at Lilavati Hospital. Several celebrities, including Malaika Arora, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and others, have also visited the hospital to stand by the family in this trying hour.
