Sajid Khan is all set to begin a new association with his fresh bunch of actors. While he has worked quite prominently with the trio of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani in each of his three films (HEYY BABYY, HOUSEFULL, HOUSEFULL 2), there is an altogether different world expected to be unfolded in his next film HIMMATWALA which has Ajay Devgn in the lead.

Says Sajid, “I love actors and it is evident in the way I project them in my films. There are directors out there who work with actors with whom they don’t necessarily bond. That’s not the way I want to work. I truly believe that there is nothing like good actor or bad actor; it is always good direction towards actors and bad direction towards actors.”
What surprises him though are claims from some of the filmmakers who want to excel in making small films. For someone who has traditionally worked in big budgeted films, Sajid says that such claims are unwarranted.
“Reason being that no filmmaker wants to make a small film. They do that because they don’t get to make big films. It may be sometimes due to lack of finance or perhaps the support system,” he says, “Don’t take me wrong, I am not against small films. What I am against though is when some critics or box office experts try to mislead audience into believing that so and so small film was a hit. Now, that’s wrong because there are so many critics out there who don’t understand the business and just evaluate a film from their own individual point of view.”
