Salman Khan’s Security Tightens: Attends Parents Wedding Anniversary Amidst Threats!

Salman Khan's Anniversary Surprise: Wishes Parents with a Heartfelt Gesture!

Salman Khan joined an intimate family gathering in honour of Salim Khan and Salma Khan’s 61 years of marriage. Salman Khan made a special appearance on Monday night to celebrate his parents’ wedding anniversary. Salman was spotted arriving at the venue with his security team and waved warmly at the paparazzi. Keeping his look understated yet stylish, Salman opted for a simple black T-shirt that he paired with matching jeans.

Several members of the Khan family attended the celebration. Salim Khan’s daughter Alvira Agnihotri attended with her husband, filmmaker Atul Agnihotri, and her daughter Alizeh Agnihotri. Other celebrity attendees of the evening included Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal, Ishita Dutta, Vatsal Sheth, and Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.

Salim Khan is one of Bollywood’s most respected screenwriters, known to have penned some of the greatest classics of Hindi cinema: Sholay, Zanjeer, and Deewar. In 1964, he married Salma Khan (formerly Sushila Charak), with whom he has five children: Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, Alvira, and Arpita. Later, in 1981, Salim Khan married renowned dancer-actress Helen, a decision which impacted the family significantly, especially young Salman.

In 1990, in an interview with Filmfare, Salman candidly spoke of the turmoil he had gone through at that phase. He called himself a “mama’s boy” and remembered how tough it was to see his mother in tears. He also confessed to having felt distressed while watching her sit and wait for Salim Khan to return home after his second marriage. “My mom’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me… I can’t bear to see her unhappy,” he had shared.
