Actor Shahid Kapoor, whose upcoming film TERI MERI KAHAANI will hit the theatres this Friday, has been signed up by choreographer-turned-director Prabhudheva for his next film, tentatively titled NAMAK.

The film will be a massy entertainer based on the drug trade in Madhya Pradesh. Said Shahid, ”The film is tentatively titled as NAMAK. It’s an action masala film…jiss tarah ki film Prabhu sir banate hain. I am very excited to work with him.”

Shahid and Prabhudheva bonded well at the IIFA Awards held in Singapore recently. Says the actor, ”I had done a dance piece of 8-9 minutes at the IIFA with Prabhu Sir. And many people told me that it was the most entertaining act of mine till date. And people present there really liked it.”
Further added Shahid, ”Prabhu sir is somebody who is a truly talented and a very exciting person. When I met him, I had a lot of fun interacting with him. So, I am looking forward to doing a film with him.”
NAMAK will see Shahid in an action avatar.
