The young, good looking and at the same time highly versatile actor, Sharman Joshi, must be one of the nicest person in the glamorous world of cinema.

It was just last year when Sharman tasted solo success with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s FERRARI KI SAWAARI, and anyone in his place would have been on a signing spree. But that did not quite happen in Sharman’s case, and when we asked him the same, he said, ”I am over busy by my own standards! I have just completed the shooting of Maruti International’s (Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria) SUPER NANI. Then there is Mr. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s CHITHIYAAN (with Humaima Malick of BOL fame), which is very much on but delayed for the moment.”

Is it a bold role in CHITHIYAAN and was he going in for an image change? And Sharman clarified,” No not at all. I don’t know where and how that got publicized!”
Not willing to let him go so easily we asked Sharman if he was still open to multi-starrers (despite FERRARI KI SAWAARI), and he replied in the affirmative, ”For sure I am! But, the script should be good and my role should appeal to me.”
With that we left Sharman for the moment, but we are sure that the actor would soon reach out to us with cinema, that has both quality and entertainment!
