Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has once again found herself at the centre of pregnancy rumours after she was dropped from Salman Khan’s much-awaited Da-Bangg Tour. The actress, who was initially announced as part of the star-studded lineup, is now missing from the event’s latest promotional poster, raising eyebrows and fuelling social media speculation.
The fresh poster shared by the organisers features Salman Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Jacqueline Fernandez, Maniesh Paul, Prabhu Deva, Sunil Grover, and singer Stebin Ben — but noticeably, Sonakshi’s name and image are absent. This sudden change has sparked curiosity among fans, with many on Reddit suggesting that the actress might be expecting her first child. One user commented, “Maybe because she could be pregnant?” while another added, “She is. Throughout Ranveer’s podcast, she kept a pillow over her belly.” Others echoed similar sentiments, pointing out that she appeared to be concealing her midsection during recent public appearances.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Sonakshi recently attended a high-profile Diwali bash with her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal. Her choice of outfit and posing style in pictures from the event led some netizens to believe she might be trying to hide a baby bump. Comments such as “She definitely looked pregnant” and “I’m so happy for her if she is” flooded social media platforms soon after the images went viral.
However, Sonakshi was quick to dismiss the rumours with her trademark humour. Taking to Instagram, she posted a story mocking the ongoing speculation, writing, “World record holder for longest pregnancy in human history (16 months and counting, according to our lovely and hyper-intelligent media) simply for posing with a hand around midsection. Scroll to last slide for our reaction… and then continue to dazzle this Diwali.”
This isn’t the first time the Dabangg actress has faced such gossip. Earlier in 2024, similar rumours surfaced, which she shut down by clarifying that she had merely gained some weight after marriage, jokingly blaming her husband for “overfeeding” her.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23, 2024, under the Special Marriage Act, followed by a grand star-studded celebration attended by several Bollywood A-listers. While fans continue to speculate, the actress’s witty response seems to have put the rumours to rest — at least for now.
