Bollywood actor Esha Deol and her husband Bharat Takhtani have been invited by Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi to her residence for dinner, media reports said on Monday.

Yesteryear actor and Esha’s mother Hema Malini had invited Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the marriage. However, both Gandhi and Singh were unable to attend it for security reasons.

Gandhi has reportedly invited the newlyweds to visit her 10 Janpath Residence in the national capital for dinner.
Actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter Esha tied the nuptial knot with businessman Bharat at Juhu’s Iskon temple on June 29. The couple had a traditional South Indian marriage.
