Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have always been known for their honesty, both in their personal lives and public appearances. While the two have often made headlines due to Sunita’s bold interviews, her latest revelation has left fans emotional. In a deeply personal conversation with Usha Kakade, Sunita opened up about the most painful phase of her life — the loss of her second child, a prematurely born baby girl.
Sunita recalled the heartbreaking details, revealing that her daughter was born early and struggled with underdeveloped lungs. “She was in my arms for three months, but her lungs didn’t develop properly. One night, she couldn’t breathe properly, and she passed away in my arms,” she shared. The moment still haunts her, as she added, “I could have had two daughters and a son today.”
In a previous interview with Hauterrfly, she had explained that the premature birth happened because she was traveling extensively with Govinda during her pregnancy. Not fully aware of the precautions she needed to take, she admitted, “I didn’t know I shouldn’t lift heavy things… my first delivery was smooth, so I thought the second would be the same.”
Alongside this emotional revelation, Govinda recently worried fans after being rushed to the hospital when he unexpectedly lost consciousness at home. His friend and legal advisor confirmed that he received immediate treatment and was later discharged after medical care.
Despite facing tragedies, health scares, and constant rumours about their marriage, Govinda and Sunita have remained strong partners since tying the knot in 1987. Their bond continues to endure, even as public chatter surrounds them more than ever.
