Sunita Ahuja, much like her actor husband Govinda, has carved a special place in the hearts of netizens with her lively personality and unfiltered charm. From her hearty laughter to her candid one-liners, she has quickly become a digital favourite. Earlier this year, Sunita launched her own YouTube channel, and within just three months, she has built an impressive and loyal following. Her vlogs, which offer glimpses into her life, opinions, and humour, continue to delight viewers.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Sunita opened up about a trending online debate: what hurts more — emotional cheating or physical cheating? Her answer was clear and heartfelt. She firmly believes emotional cheating is far more painful. “Emotional. Aap emotionally ek insaan ko pyaar karte ho phir baad mein aap usko cheat karte ho. That’s not right,” she said. Sunita emphasized that she is an extremely emotional person and deeply devoted to her husband Govinda. “I love Govinda to my death… Emotionally mujhe koi bhi dhokha de, chahe mere bacche ho, mera pati ho, I get very hurt. Emotionally kisi ko mat karo, it’s not good yaar.”
When asked if physical cheating is somehow lesser or more acceptable, Sunita immediately dismissed the idea. “Woh bhi nahi karna chahiye! Yeh dono hi kyun karna hai aapko? It’s not right,” she stated, adding that such behaviour goes against the values and “sanskaar” passed down by parents. She lamented how cheating — in both forms — seems increasingly normalised today, calling it a sign of “ghor kalyug,” a moral decline that she believes has gripped society.
The conversation around emotional versus physical cheating has been circulating for years, but it gained renewed momentum after appearing on the celebrity chat show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle. During a rapid-fire “Yes or No” segment, hosts Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, along with guest Karan Johar, unanimously agreed that emotional cheating is worse. However, actor Janhvi Kapoor disagreed, saying both forms of betrayal are equally hurtful and “bad.” Their differing views sparked a fresh wave of debate across social media platforms.

As discussions about modern relationships and boundaries continue to evolve, her clarity and conviction have struck a chord with many. The question, however, remains open to interpretation and personal experience: which do you believe is worse — emotional cheating or physical cheating?
