Sushant Singh Rajput is on cloud nine after the success of his film MS DHONI: THE UNTOLD STORY. He is still remembered for his powerful performance in the biopic.
In fact Sushant was nominated for his role in the best actor category at IIFA 2017.
A lot was said about IIFA 2017, nepotism, taking dig at Kangna Ranaut. Karan, Varun and Saif mocked in New York over Kangna’s statement.
If this wasn’t enough, Sushant Singh Rajput’s social media cryptic laugh was enough to rage the internet with fire.
Well, let us give you deeds.
It so happened that Shahid Kapoor, who was also nominated for his performance in UDTA PUNJAB, so was Sushant nominated for MS DHONI. However Shahid won the award.
Soon after this Sushant laughed at the award show tagging it from his social media handle.
Sushant’s post earned him ire. People on internet abused and trolled Sushant saying he mocked at the award function as he didn’t won an award for the film and is jealous of Shahid’s winning.
Sushant’s team sent a clarification saying, “Sushant’s post had nothing to do with the awards. It was simply an expression of having a successful graduation from a background dancer, to now being an actor performing at the very same award function. In fact he posted right after his performance and had no relevance to the award ceremony. As opposed to the speculation, not getting an award doesn’t affect Sushant as he is very secure as an actor.”
And we can truly accept it as his posts are clarifying that he is elated for his performance, and has nothing to do with Shahid Kapoor
