Taapsee Pannu to turn into the character of a cricketer after playing the role of a hockey player in 'Soorma'. Taapsee Pannu is reportedly playing Jodhpur-born woman cricketer Mithali Raj in a biopic made on her life. Taapsee has agreed to do the film but is yet to sign and make it official.
Mithali Dorai Raj is an Indian cricketer and the captain of the Indian women's cricket team in Tests and ODI. Recently she completed 20 years in International Cricket and hence BCCI tweeted "She made her India debut on this day 20 years ago. After two decades, @M_Raj03 is still strong as ever and is the leading run getter in WODIs. She is the only female player to feature in over 200 ODIs. ???? #20YearsOfMithaliRaj"
