Actress Tanushree Dutta, who was at the forefront of sparking India’s #MeToo movement, has now made another shocking accusation. In an emotional video that went viral on Instagram, the Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress is seen tearfully accusing someone of harassing her in her own residence.
“I Am Being Harassed in My Own Home”
In the video, Tanushree explains, “Mujhe mere hi ghar mein pareshaan kiya jaa raha hai.” She confirms she recently phoned the police because of harassment. When the officers came to her house, they instructed her to come to the police station to make a complaint. The actress told them, however, that her health is not in any condition for her to work right away, explaining, “Main kuch kaam nahi kar pa rahi hoon… meri tabiyat kharab ho gayi hai.”
“Even the Maids Were Planted”
Tanushree also narrated being unable to employ domestic workers since she suspects that individuals have “planted maids” in her house who robbed her and added to her distress. She reported that she now does all household work herself, even though she has chronic fatigue syndrome because of long periods of stress and worry since 2018.

Constant Noise and Surveillance Claims
In another post, she posted a clip of loud background noises, claiming banging noises above her roof and outside her door have been a part of her daily sufferings since 2020. Despite numerous complaints lodged with building authorities, the noise continues.
