‘The Taj Story’ Teaser Out: Paresh Rawal Sparks Debate in Bold New Social Drama

Paresh Rawal returns to the big screen with a powerful courtroom monologue in the newly unveiled teaser of ‘The Taj Story’, released on Thursday

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal returns to the big screen with a powerful courtroom monologue in the newly unveiled teaser of ‘The Taj Story’, released on Thursday. Set to hit theatres on October 31, 2025, the film is billed as a hard-hitting social drama that dares to ask provocative questions about India’s intellectual legacy and historical narratives.

A Bold Question on Intellectual Slavery

Written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel, with Vikas Radhesham as the Creative Producer, the film questions whether India, even after 79 years of Independence, is still shackled by intellectual terrorism. Rawal’s intense courtroom speech calls out an “intellectual wipeout of a community,” setting the tone for a film that aims to challenge conventional thinking.

One of the central themes of The Taj Story revolves around the controversial and long-debated question: Who really built the Taj Mahal? While mainstream history credits Shah Jahan, the film taps into popular internet theories, raising doubts and stirring conversations—despite lacking solid historical backing.

A Cinematic Debate, Not Just a Historical Film

Producers Swarnim Global Services Pvt. Ltd and CA Suresh Jha dropped the teaser just before Independence Day, intensifying curiosity around the film’s bold narrative. With music composed by Rohit Sharma, and featuring a strong ensemble cast including Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das, the film promises to be more than just a period piece—it’s positioned as a cinematic debate.
