Triptii Dimri’s sense of humour once again has fans in splits. The Animal star recently posted a new video on her social media handles, offering a lighthearted glimpse into her life as a rising Bollywood sensation whose fame seemingly holds no value at home especially in the eyes of her pets. In a cleverly edited montage, Dimri contrasted her hectic professional routine with the hilariously unimpressed reactions of her cats, leaving the internet thoroughly entertained.
The video begins with snippets from Dimri’s demanding work life: she is seen being harnessed to jump off a plank, engaging in conversations at events, flipping through scripts, and even including a clip from a theatre screening of her film Dhadak 2. The montage highlights the intensity and dedication that her fast-growing career requires, showcasing the star’s commitment both on and off the set.
But the real comedy unfolds in the second half of the video, where Dimri shifts from red carpets and film sets to the comfort of home only to be met with indifference. In one clip, she attempts to play with her cat, who stares back with wide, disapproving eyes. In the next, she cuddles Lychee, whose only reaction is a dismissive yawn. Overlaying the video, Dimri wrote, “All this effort and hardwork… For kids who ignore me daily.” She doubled down on the humour in the caption, adding, “My pets when I come home… Who are you, ma’am?.. Fame has changed them.”
Fans immediately joined the fun in the comments section. One jokingly wrote, “Uff, these Gen Alpha pets,” while another said, “Momo’s slap is my fav.” Someone else chimed in, “Superstardom has changed Lychee.” Even her Dhadak 2 co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi joined in, reacting with a laughing emoji.
On the professional front, Triptii Dimri continues enjoying a strong career trajectory. Her recent film Dhadak 2, produced by Dharma Productions and centered around caste issues, earned her widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics. Up next, she will be seen starring opposite Shahid Kapoor in Vishal Bharadwaj’s O Romeo, which also features Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda, and Avinash Tiwary. In addition, Dimri is part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-anticipated projects Spirit and Animal Park.
