Kartik Aaryan has officially kickstarted the shoot for his next romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. Directed by Satyaprem Ki Katha filmmaker Sameer Vidwans, the film went on floors with a traditional mahurat ceremony, and Kartik shared the exciting update with fans from Europe, where the first shooting schedule is underway.
New Look, New Role
Fresh off the completion of Anurag Basu’s romantic musical opposite Sreeleela, Kartik flew to Europe to begin work on his next role, in which he plays a character named Ray. On Friday, he took to Instagram to post a series of photos from the picturesque location. One picture shows him with the film’s clapperboard during the mahurat shot, while another revealed a pile of chopped hair—symbolizing his transformation from his long-haired look in Basu’s film to a much shorter hairstyle for this character. Captioning the post, he wrote: “Ray is Raydyyyy #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri.”

Though early speculation linked Sreeleela and Sharvari to the female lead role, reports confirm that Ananya Panday has bagged the part. This romantic comedy is being positioned as a Valentine’s Day release, with a theatrical premiere set for February 13, 2026.
