It’s a wrap for Border 2! Actor Varun Dhawan has formally wrapped up his part of the much-awaited war drama, bringing an end to his shoot with a warm on-set party. A video of Varun cutting a cake with the cast and crew has gone viral on social media, with fans hailing his hard work and enthusiasm during the film’s grueling schedule.
T-Series uploaded the photos and videos of the celebration, including Varun Dhawan with co-star Medha Rana, producer Bhushan Kumar, co-producer Shiv Chanana, director Anurag Singh, and creative producer Binnoy Gandhi. The caption was, “Varun Dhawan wraps his schedule for #Border2… followed by a special visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar.” Varun went to the temple on Tuesday to take blessings and shared a peaceful picture on Instagram with the caption: “Satnam Sri Wahe Guru. A journey comes to an end #border2.”
Border 2, a spiritual follow-up to the legendary 1997 film, is set to be a poignant narrative of patriotism, sacrifice, and courage. Anurag Singh directs the film, which has an impressive cast that features Varun Dhawan, Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. Sunny and Diljit also completed their shoot schedules earlier.
Debuting in theatre, Medha Rana is the female lead along with Varun Dhawan. She had recently posted a behind-the-scenes look from the sets, looking forward to being a part of such a purposeful project. The movie is co-produced by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with JP Dutta’s JP Films, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta.
