Varun Dhawan’s Jaw-Dropping Confession: ‘Main Uth Ke Sofa Pe So Gaya’ – What Really Happened?

The Utterly Ridiculous Reason Varun Dhawan Gave for Making Janhvi Kapoor Sleep on the Floor!

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, who are famous for their bubbly nature, are geared up to thrill audiences once more with their new romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The movie, directed by Shashank Khaitan, will release on October 2 and boasts of a star-studded cast led by Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Maniesh Paul.

Promoting the movie, Varun and Janhvi were as candid as could be in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla. Chatting with them, Janhvi humorously reminisced about an incident that happened during their earlier collaboration on Bawaal, where she mentioned how Varun made her sleep on the floor during their Paris shoot.

She started stating, “He made me sleep on the floor!” when Varun immediately intervened to clarify the situation. The actor explained that they were traveling to Paris during the shooting in Normandy and had stopped over at a lounge to rest. There were no beds on the sofas since they were full, and therefore, they had to sleep on the floor together.

Later during the night, Varun saw that some individuals had left the sofas. Not to miss out on the opportunity for relaxation, he got up quietly and moved to the sofa — without disturbing Janhvi. Jokingly, he said, “Woh abhi bhi neend mein thi, toh main uth ke so gaya sofa pe.” Asked why he did not wake her up, jokingly he added, “If I had woken her up, she would’ve said, ‘Why are you waking me up?
‘”

Not one to let the ribbing go unreturned, Varun cheekily reminded Janhvi of another episode where he said Janhvi had “drugged” him. Involuntarily bursting into laughter, Janhvi rejected the claim. Varun explained that he wasn’t well during a flight, and Janhvi had suggested that he take a sleeping pill. “She drugged me on a flight,” he teased, as Janhvi maintained it was just to get him to sleep better.
