After making his acting debut with Sky Force, Veer Pahariya is preparing for his next theatrical release. The actor has announced Prem Keetanu, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on October 2, 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.
Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the filmmaker known for Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and the popular series Aspirants, the upcoming film features Veer in a completely different setting from his debut. Aparshakti Khurana, Aafiya Sayed, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay are also part of the cast.
Prem Keetanu is the first production from Gaurav Verma’s newly launched banner, Avanika Films. The film is being co presented by Phars Films, marking the beginning of the production house’s journey with a theatrical project.
The film is described as a story about young Indians and their everyday experiences. It explores relationships, personal ambitions and the challenges faced by young people while trying to build their lives. The story combines humour and emotion and looks at modern relationships from a contemporary perspective.
The project also gives Veer an opportunity to move away from the kind of role he played in Sky Force. In his debut film, he portrayed Indian Air Force officer T. Vijaya in a patriotic action drama. Prem Keetanu, on the other hand, places him in a more youthful story focused on relationships and everyday life.
Veer has another film in his upcoming lineup that takes him in a completely different direction. He will star in the dark action thriller Naam To Live Is War. The film is presented by veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and directed by Sidhaant Sachdev.
Naam To Live Is War also features Varun Sharma, who is expected to play a negative character for the first time. The project is being produced by Riddhi Chawda and Utsav Upadhyay.

With these two films, Veer is taking on roles in very different genres. While Prem Keetanu focuses on love, relationships, humour and the lives of young people, Naam To Live Is War is expected to explore a darker and more action focused world.
Following Sky Force, the two projects represent the next stage of Veer’s acting career as he continues to explore different types of characters and stories.
