Vidya Balan while shooting for her upcoming flick KAHAANI managed to escape from a serious accident just by the skin of her teeth.
The ‘Ooh-la-la’ actress had almost fallen on the railway tracks at a Kolkata metro station while filming for one of the scenes of the film in which she was supposed to run backwards but unfortunately, she bumped against a weighing machine and tripped.

However, thanks to the director and co-producer of the movie Sujoy Ghosh’s presence of mind that he came to Vidya’s rescue and saved her from falling on the tracks. Finally, after everything was fine, the shoot resumed.

KAHAANI is seemingly a drama-thriller that revolves around a pregnant woman’s search for her missing husband. Set in Kolkata, the flick also stars Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead role.
KAHAANI is scheduled to release on March 9, 2012.
