Being popular & recognized is something that most of us wish for. Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, who has been blessed with a crazy fan following, enjoys his celebrity status and in spite of the hindrances celebs have, he wouldn't want to lead a peaceful life like a common man.
When SRK was asked whether he enjoys his celebrity status or would he rather live like a peaceful common man, he said, ''No, I love being a celebrity. I think it's the nicest gift that god gives to anyone that you're recognized.
There are small little things that you need to give up like eating in a regular restaurant, but I think if I did not have people waving out to me when I am driving or outside my house or trouble me for autographs, I'd feel really sad.''
''I think it's fantastic being a celebrity. I don't like any celebrity saying that I want to be unknown and I want to not be recognized. You've got a chance to be recognized and thank allah, god, bhagwaan that he's given you this opportunity,'' he added.
