And his upcoming, YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI, co-starring ex-flame Deepika Padukone, the new star after AASHIQUI 2, Aditya Roy Kapur and not to forget Kalki Koechlin, fresh from the average success of EK THI DAAYAN, has really hotted up in the trade and distribution circle.
With superb promotions and chartbusting music working in its favour and the romantic genre appealing to the youth, trade is predicting a bumper opening for YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI.

In fact one of India’s leading trade expert has predicted that YEH JAWAANI.. will embark upon bumper opening and adds, ”The craze for the film is building up day by day. Going by the pace, the film will become very hot by 31st May. The first day’s net all India total could be Rs.13 to 14 crore, may be even 15 or 16!”
Well, that would indeed be a superb opening and it appears that Bollywood would have its first 100 crore venture of the year in YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI, and it may well be Ranbir’s second century after BARFI!
