According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anna Lambe is set to co-star alongside Brad Pitt in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming action-adventure film, The Heart of the Beast, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Lambe, recognized for her performances in North of North and True Detective: Night Country, joins an already star-studded cast that includes Pitt and J.K. Simmons. The film is being directed by David Ayer, with a script penned by Cameron Alexander, who also serves as an executive producer.
A Survival Thriller in the Alaskan Wilderness
The Heart of the Beast follows the harrowing journey of a former Army Special Forces soldier, played by Brad Pitt, who must navigate the brutal Alaskan wilderness with his combat dog after surviving a devastating plane crash. While details of Lambe’s character are being kept under wraps, her involvement adds further intrigue to this high-stakes survival story.

The film’s production boasts an impressive lineup, with Damien Chazelle and Olivia Hamilton producing under their Wild Chickens Productions banner as part of their first-look deal with Paramount. Additional producers include Temple Hill Entertainment, David Ayer through Crave Films, and Brad Pitt under his production company, Plan B. Richard Raymond is also on board as co-producer.
A Rising Star’s Expanding Portfolio
Lambe is making waves in the industry. She also appeared alongside Jodie Foster in HBO’s True Detective: Night Country and shared the screen with Alfred Molina in Amazon’s limited series Three Pines.
Meanwhile, Ayer, known for action-packed films such as Bright and The Beekeeper, recently directed A Working Man, starring Jason Statham, which is hitting theaters this Friday. He previously collaborated with Brad Pitt on the 2014 war drama Fury.
Brad Pitt, on the other hand, has a busy year ahead. He stars in Joseph Kosinski’s upcoming racing drama F1, set for release, alongside Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, and Javier Bardem. His recent projects include Wolfs with George Clooney and Chazelle’s 2022 film Babylon.
