Fans at Destination D23 were treated to a special hype reel teaser along with a behind-the-scenes look shared by directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
Russo Brothers Promise Epic Scale
Appearing via video message, the Russo Brothers confirmed that Doomsday is their biggest undertaking to date. “Right now we are in London shooting Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday,” they said. “This movie is, to say the least, a big one for us. We are bringing together so many of your favourite heroes to face one of the greatest threats to the MCU.”

The teaser reel electrified audiences with a rapid montage of Marvel’s iconic heroes. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson took center stage, while Shuri (Letitia Wright) declared, “Now is our time to strike.” Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man humorously added, “Will I be there when the Avengers need me? Absolutely.” The footage also teased appearances by Yelena from Thunderbolts, Joaquin Torres as Falcon, Loki, and Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards.
