With all BTS members now officially discharged from their mandatory military service, excitement is building around what’s next for the global supergroup. Recently, Kim Taehyung, better known as V, gave fans a glimpse into his post-service mindset and teased what’s to come.
During a live chat, V opened up about life after his discharge and addressed fans’ questions about upcoming projects. “Maybe if we wait a little longer, I think it’ll come out. But, it’s not really a big deal,” he said with a laugh, before adding, “Oh, but to me, it’s actually a big deal.” His lighthearted yet meaningful words have sparked curiosity among fans, eager to see what the singer has been working on.
A Warm Welcome for V and RM
V completed his military service on June 10, alongside fellow BTS member RM. The two were seen stepping out of the Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, wearing their uniforms and receiving an emotional welcome from fans around the globe. RM even performed on the saxophone, while V held bouquets and posed for photos with a big smile.

V later shared a touching Instagram Story featuring a photo of him and RM walking arm-in-arm, captioned with their enlistment and discharge dates: “2023.12.11 – 2025.06.10.”

Full BTS Comeback Set for March 2026
While BigHit Music has yet to release an official statement, industry insiders reveal that BTS is planning a full-group comeback in March 2026. Reports suggest a possible mid-March release, potentially alongside their labelmates, TXT. There’s also speculation that BTS may drop a prerelease single or project ahead of the official return, fueling fan excitement worldwide.
