David Beckham marked Father’s Day surrounded by much of his family, but one notable absence has once again fueled speculation about the ongoing rift between the Beckham family and eldest son Brooklyn Beckham. According to photos obtained by Page Six, the football icon celebrated the occasion at a gastro pub in West London alongside wife Victoria Beckham, sons Romeo and Cruz Beckham, and their respective partners, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel. The gathering also included David’s mother Sandra Beckham, as well as members of Victoria’s family.
The family reportedly spent several hours together enjoying the Father’s Day outing before departing separately. David kept things casual in a white T-shirt and beige trousers, while Victoria opted for a chic black top paired with white jeans.
Noticeably missing from the celebration were Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz. David and Victoria’s youngest child, Harper Beckham, also did not appear in photographs from the outing.
Brooklyn’s absence comes amid months of tension between him and his famous family. The family feud reportedly escalated earlier this year when Brooklyn publicly accused his parents of interfering in his marriage to Nicola Peltz. Since then, relations between both sides have appeared increasingly strained.
The 27-year-old also skipped several major family events in recent months, including David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony earlier this month. His absence from such milestone occasions has only intensified speculation about the state of their relationship.
Despite the ongoing estrangement, David and Victoria appeared to extend an olive branch on Father’s Day through social media. Both parents shared heartfelt tributes featuring throwback photographs of all four of their children, including Brooklyn.
Victoria described David as “the best daddy” and praised him for what she called his greatest achievement, raising their four children. David echoed the sentiment in his own post, calling fatherhood his “most important job” and thanking Victoria for giving him their family.
However, reports suggest Brooklyn was less than pleased by the public gesture. According to The Sun, sources close to him claim he has repeatedly asked his parents to stop involving him in public family posts.
“He wishes they’d leave it and leave him alone,” an insider reportedly told the outlet.
The tension appears to have deepened further in recent weeks following reports surrounding an attempted family reconciliation involving Harper. Representatives for Brooklyn and Nicola previously alleged that a visit to Brooklyn’s Los Angeles home had been staged for publicity after photographers were present when a letter was reportedly delivered. Sources close to David and Victoria, however, disputed those claims.
While neither side has publicly addressed the latest developments in detail, the Father’s Day celebration highlighted just how divided the Beckham family appears to remain.
For now, David continues to publicly express love for all of his children, while Brooklyn remains noticeably distant from family gatherings and social media tributes. Whether the family can eventually repair the relationship remains one of the biggest unanswered questions surrounding one of Britain’s most famous families.
