Hollywood actor David Harbour and British singer Lily Allen confirmed their separation after four years of marriage. The gorgeous couple which had melted hearts with their besotted appearances has parted ways amicably, reports People. The crumbling of their marriage had been underway for quite some time, but the couple has now decided to go their separate ways, according to a different report.
Harbour and Allen, in what appears to have been a thriving relationship, have recently been through some things. Neither Harbour nor Allen has spoken up regarding the real reason for the couple’s split. But, insiders say that hectic schedules and demanding careers could have contributed to their decision.
David, 49, and Lily, 39, met on a celebrity dating app and were married in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas in 2020. They have shared numerous glimpses of their life on social media with affectionate posts and playful antics, much to their fans’ delight. Their red-carpet debut at the Screen Actors Guild Awards gave much attention to their relationship.
Allen was previously married to Sam Cooper from 2011 to 2018. She shares two daughters, Ethel and Marnie, with Cooper. Harbour fully embraced his role as a stepfather, openly expressing his love for Allen’s kids. He once told People that co-parenting makes him feel that “I’m in a relationship with three women, who all have very different opinions of me at various times.”
The former fiance also explained that some commitment is so peculiar for him, in fact, that it really makes him feel calmer somehow. “It just makes you feel a little bit more like a man, to be honest,” he said. “I feel a little bit more like an adult.”
