Disney has officially released the trailers and posters of TRON: Ares in various languages, raising excitement for the greatly anticipated third instalment in the legendary TRON series. Set to release in Indian cinemas on 10th October 2025, TRON: Ares will be offered in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, making it more accessible to a wider Indian audience.
A Legacy Reimagined
TRON: Ares is the newest installment in a science fiction saga that started with Disney’s 1982 cult favorite TRON, followed by the visually stunning TRON: Legacy in 2010. Now, after thirteen years, the franchise is being rebooted with a new daring narrative that brings together the worlds of the digital and human realms.
Directed by Joachim Rønning, and starring Jared Leto in the lead role of Ares—a cutting-edge digital Program. The story tracks Ares as he is sent from the digital world into the physical world on a life-or-death mission, marking the first human encounter with an A.I. entity. This new development adds another philosophical and technological dimension to the TRON story, offering heady action, emotional resonance, and state-of-the-art visuals.
Star-Studded Cast and a Sonic Punch
The star-studded cast includes a combination of Hollywood A-listers and up-and-comers, such as Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and reprising franchise legend Jeff Bridges.
Joining in on the thrill is a completely new original song by Grammy-winning rock group Nine Inch Nails, called “As Alive As You Need Me To Be”. The group’s distinctive style is set to add a gritty, emotive depth to the already immersive universe of the film.
Supported by Powerhouse Producers
The movie is made by Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Jared Leto, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger—the designer of the original TRON. Russell Allen is executive producer, overseeing the film as a continued expansion of the franchise’s origins in bold new directions.
Indian Release Across Four Languages
With the official theatrical date planned for October 10, 2025, TRON: Ares will also release in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, continuing Disney’s policy of bringing international content within reach of Indian masses.
With the virtual and real worlds getting ready to overlap once more, TRON: Ares is all set to give viewers an edge-of-the-seat experience that defines the future of science fiction.
