Iggy Azalea is looking forward to spending her first Christmas with her son Onyx.
According to Hollywood Life, the 30-year-old songstress is quite determined to make the occasion special for her child, despite her previously planned ski trip being cancelled.
“She’s making a last-minute effort to get a Christmas tree, put up some lights, and get Onyx some cute Grinch PJs to wear,” a source close to the rapper told the publication.
Another source revealed, “Iggy is getting into the Christmas spirit more than she has in recent years because she wants to make it such a sweet moment for Onyx.”
“She knows that he might not remember it at all, but the photos that will be taken and the memories that Iggy will have from it will last a lifetime.”
“It will be a day that she can bring up to him time and time again as he gets older. It is the best gift she could ask for this year and that is to spend it with her son,” the insider added.
It’s still unclear if Iggy Azalea’s ex and Onyx’s father Playboi Carti will be present at their family Christmas.
Last month, the ‘Fancy’ hitmaker slammed Carti, 24, on social media after he shared a cryptic post that appeared to be disrespectful towards her and their child, reports Dailymail.
“I told da bit shut up! My son crying,” Playboi Carti tweeted at the time.
In a series of tweets, the Australian singer fired back at her ex and some fans who she claimed had dragged her name “in dirt,” per Dailymail.
“Did you?”, she questioned in a since-deleted tweet.
And in a number of since-deleted tweets, she further added “what b*tch would you need to tell to shut up?” and added that “certainly none are around my son,” per HotNewHipHop.
In another since-deleted tweet, Iggy Azalea hit back at her fans who reportedly dragged her name “in dirt” due to a “random cryptic a** tweet.”
“y’all wrong as hell for your dumb a** Lil tweets. Why I gotta log on and see my name dragged in dirt over a random cryptic ass tweet, that hasn’t got shit to do with me! For WHAT!? I mind my business. I hope your Mac & cheese burns in the oven on Thursday. Night!”
“And yes, I’m pissed the f*ck off. As I should be. As you would be,” Iggy Azalea added.
