Jennifer Lopez has arrived in India for the first time, touching down in Udaipur on Saturday, November 22, to attend the lavish wedding of Netra Mantena, daughter of Orlando-based billionaire and Ingenus Pharmaceuticals CEO Rama Raju Mantena. Netra is set to marry tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju in a grand, multi-day celebration drawing global attention.
In a video shared on Instagram, Lopez was spotted stepping out of the Udaipur airport accompanied by her team. The superstar opted for a stylish travel look featuring an oversized brown fur coat, black boots, chic sunglasses, and a half-up hairstyle paired with soft, minimal makeup. Her arrival quickly became one of the standout moments of the festivities, which began on November 21 and will conclude with the wedding ceremony and reception on November 23. Lopez is reportedly scheduled to give a special performance at the event, adding to the excitement surrounding the star-studded celebrations. Rumors also hint that Justin Bieber may perform, though no official confirmation has been made.
The wedding events are spread across Udaipur’s most iconic luxury venues, including The Leela Palace, Zenana Mahal, and the picturesque island palace on Lake Pichola. The guest list boasts an array of high-profile names, from Donald Trump Jr. to Bollywood heavyweights such as Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon.
Meanwhile, Lopez has had a busy year professionally. She recently appeared in the musical drama Kiss of the Spider Woman, released on October 10 and directed by Bill Condon. The film, inspired by the 1992 stage musical and Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel, features an ensemble cast including Diego Luna and Josefina Scaglione, and was co-produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artist Equity.
