Hollywood pays tribute to one of the well-renowned persons of all time. He has been a film director, screenwriter, and producer and well known for his 1991 film BOYZ N THE HOOD as a director. He is none other than John Singleton.
John Singleton was born in Los Angeles. The film BOYZ N THE HOOD was Singleton’s debut and the film became both a commercial and critical success. At a young age of 24, he was nominated for the Best Director and also the first African-American to be nominated for the award. He is also did films like POETIC JUSTICE (1993) and HIGHER LEARNING (1995), both which were socially awakening and both of which got mixed reviews amongst others like 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS in 2003 and many more.
Other than films he has also made a contribution in the field of music albums. One of his masterpieces is REMEMBER THE TIME (1992) for evergreen King of Pop Michael Jackson. The album was directed by Singleton and was well known for being a VFX driven.
