Rapper Offset was recently injured after being shot in the leg in Florida. The incident took place on Monday night at the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. He was taken to a hospital soon after the incident for treatment.
On Tuesday, Offset was seen outside the hospital in an ICU wheelchair. He appeared slightly uncomfortable and was accompanied by his mother, Latabia Woodward, along with a hospital staff member. He was wearing a hospital gown and grey socks and was seen speaking with them. At one point, he lifted his gown to show his injured left thigh to the staff member.
According to a statement shared by his representative, “He is stable and being closely monitored.”
Police officials said that the situation started with a fight and later led to gunfire. They described it as an “incident began with an affray, or fight,” which “resulted in non-life-threatening injuries.” Authorities also confirmed that the situation was quickly controlled.
They added, “Seminole Police were on site immediately, and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police,” and also stated that there was no threat to the public.

Rapper Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merrit, was later arrested and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct affray. He was taken to Broward County Jail, and his bond was set at $500.
However, his lawyer denied any involvement in the shooting. Attorney Dawn Florio said, “We are issuing this release in regards to false rumors that Lil Tjay was involved in a shooting … which [resulted] in non-life-threatening injuries to Offset, formerly a member of Migos.” She added, “Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false.”
The identity of the shooter has not yet been confirmed. Before the incident, Offset was seen interacting with fans at the hotel and was described as relaxed and friendly.
