Rihanna was photographed standing outside the green stucco house with her three children, sons RZA and Riot and her 10 month old daughter Rocki. The home is located on a street that was once known as Westbury New Road. The street has since been renamed Rihanna Drive in her honor, making the visit even more meaningful for the singer and her family.
Sharing pictures from the emotional outing, Rihanna reflected on how quickly life can change. She wrote, “One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury…the next minute I’m bringing my own kids back to ‘Rihanna Drive.’” Her words captured the importance of the moment as she introduced her children to a place that was once a major part of her own childhood.
The family also kept their vacation style relaxed and comfortable. RZA and Riot were dressed casually in colorful shorts and T shirts, while little Rocki looked adorable in a frilly gingham outfit with matching red hair clips. Rihanna, meanwhile, chose a very different look. The 38 year old star wore a simple black gown with one shoulder and a high slit. She completed her look with red lipstick, dark sunglasses, a thick gold necklace and flip flops.
Although Rihanna is often known for bold and attention grabbing fashion, her outfit for this family visit was much more simple. The understated look suited the emotional and personal nature of the occasion.
Rihanna has been spending time in Barbados since earlier this month. She traveled to the island with her partner A$AP Rocky to attend the annual Crop Over Festival, one of Barbados’ most popular celebrations. The festival is known for its music, colorful fashion, food and lively atmosphere.
